Join PACK

PACK is a non-profit recreational club for sharing the fun and excitement of fishing from kayaks and canoes. Everyone is welcome at our meetings; you don't need to be a member. To come on club outings, you need a current membership and a signed waiver for this year. We think you'll be glad you joined!

What we do

• Monthly meetings: the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM, Trini Mendenhall Community Center, 1414 Wirt Road, Houston, TX. Dates sometimes change, so check Events.
• Outings all year: kayak fishing day trips, campouts and tournaments. Members usually pick the places at the monthly meetings; see Events for this year's trips.

How to join

Membership is $25 a year for one person or $35 a year for a family. Joining takes two things: paying the dues and signing this year's waiver.

A family is two adults and/or their children aged 12 to 17. Each person joining creates their own account and signs their own waiver, and the treasurer links them. Children under 12 are welcome on some outings with a waiver a parent signs, but can't be members. Adult children (18 and over) need their own membership.

Online

1. Create a website account (or sign in if you have one).
2. Go to My Membership to pay your dues, or to see how to pay by check.
3. Sign the waiver online: sign in, then go to My Profile → Membership → Sign the waiver (a parent or guardian uses Sign for a child). A membership officer checks it and you get an email when it's accepted.

By mail

1. Print the membership form (PDF) and fill it in.
2. Mail it with your check and your signed waiver to the address below.

Waiver

Every member signs a new waiver each year; it counts through December 31. Sign the waiver online (sign in first), or print the 2026 waiver (PDF) and hand it to any board member at a meeting, or mail it to PACK.
