PACK members fish from kayaks and canoes all over Texas: the bays and coastal waters, rivers and lakes. Once a month we get together to share trips, fishing stories and tips, and plan the next outing. Come meet us; you don't have to be a member to attend a meeting.

Monthly meetings

  • When: the 3rd Tuesday of each month, 6:00 PM (check Events for any change)

  • Where: Trini Mendenhall Community Center, 1414 Wirt Road, Houston, TX

  • Dinner before the meeting: Pit Room BBQ, 10301 Katy Freeway, a few blocks east of Beltway 8 on the south side of I-10. Come early to eat and visit with the month's guest speaker and other members.

Get involved

  • Join PACK: membership is $25 a year ($35 for a family) and lets you come on club outings

  • Events: meetings, fishing trips, campouts and tournaments

  • Forums: fishing reports, questions and gear talk

Our mission

Paddling Anglers in Canoes and Kayaks (PACK) is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the paddling community through education about all aspects of paddling, environmental stewardship to protect the places we paddle, and the sanctioning of programs and events that promote paddlesport competition, exploration and recreation.
